Recopilación de fotos de la semana de Fashion Revolution

La semana pasada fue la semana de la Fashion Revolution, esta semana existe desde el colapso del edificio Rana Plaza donde miles de trabajadores murieron o sufrieron graves daños solo por el hecho de trabajar en la industria de la moda. Desde ese llamado a abrir los ojos nosotros buscamos un cambio en el mundo de la moda rápida.

Por esto quisimos haces algo y recopilamos esta serie de fotos para contribuir con la causa.

Nada de esto hubiese sido posible sin el interés por el cambio de las personas que decidieron participar en este proyecto, así que MUCHAS GRACIAS a todos, y gracias a la organización de Fashion Revolution por crear esta iniciativa.

Fashion Revolution Week compilation of pictures

Last week was the Fashion Revolution Week, this week exist since the collapse of the Rana Plaza building were thousands of workers were killed or several injured just by working in the fashion industry. Since that wake-up call we asks for a change in the fast fashion world.

That’s why we wanted to do something and here is a compilation of pictures to contribute with the cause.

Of course this couldn’t be possible without the interest for a change of all the persons that decided to be a part of the project, so THANK YOU all, and thanks to the Fashion Revolution Organization for the creating this initiative, you are all REAL!!

¿Es malo ser feminista?

Muchas personas niegan abiertamente ser feministas, y plantean su desprecio por la palabra “feminismo”, esto nos hace preguntarnos ¿Es malo ser feminista?

Según la RAE la palabra feminismo significa: 

“Ideología que defiende que las mujeres deben tener los mismos derechos que los hombres”

A lo largo de la historia e inclusive en la actualidad se les ha privado de derechos básicos a las mujeres y el feminismo busca establecer que los hombres y mujeres tengan igualdad de derechos.

Sin embargo parece haber mal entendidos en aquellas personas que desconocen el significado del término y lo asocian al significado opuesto de la palabra machismo, que según la RAE significa: 

“Actitud de prepotencia de los varones respecto de las mujeres.”

Por lo que feminismo podría tomarse como la actitud prepotente de las mujeres sobre los hombres. Un acto de supremacía femenino, cuando el verdadero feminismo busca la igualdad de ambos secos desde hace varios años.

Entonces queda preguntarnos ¿Es malo defender la igualdad de derechos y oportunidades entre hombres y mujeres? 

Is it bad to be a feminist?

Many people openly deny being feminists, and they show a serious dislike for the word "feminism" that makes us wonder Is it bad to be a feminist?

According to the Merrian Webster the word feminism means: 

“the belief that men and women should have equal rights and opportunities”

Throughout history and even today women has been deprived of basic rights and feminism seeks to establish that men and women have equal rights.

However there seems to be misunderstood by those who know the meaning of the term and associate it to the opposite meaning of the concept of male chauvinism, which by the Merrian Webster means: 

“a belief that men are superior to women”

So feminism could be taken as the arrogant attitude of women over men. An act of female supremacy, when true feminism seeks equality of both dry for several years.

Then left to wonder Is it bad to defend equal rights and opportunities for men and women?
